SR PRODUCT ENGINEER EXTERIOR BODY

Engineering Position Description & Responsibilities:

Deliver QCWFT (Quality, cost, weight, Function target) for Body exterior Manage Exterior Body delivery Program milestones, Studio & Engineering gateways
Follow all applicable processes to support GPDS and Program milestones such as: Function led process waterfall generation, target setting/cascade & sign-off - Support PMT Leader in DF's (decision forms, CMF, MADF/CADF, VPAT etc) - Studio interface for FC process (feasibility check list, DDCL, ECO etc)
Support engineers for Sourcing process (To4, SOBA, PCP, 8bin, CPA etc)
Partner with engineers to resolve AVBOM issues with AVBOM analyst and PMA
Organize agenda for weekly PMT meeting , Lead PMT meeting in PMT Leader's absence
Support prototype build planning/scheduling and actual builds at various plants, NMPDC and Assembly Plants.
Support Launch as required - Represent PMT1 in cross functional issues and lead issues that requires Body to lead for resolution - Assist core engineering as required -

Engineering Skills & Experience Required:
2+ years experience in Automotive Body Engineering
2+experience with NA OEM environments
Strong written & Verbal communication skills

Demonstrated Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc) and SharePoint
Strong independent leadership skills

Engineering Skills & Experience Preferred:
2+ years experience in Exterior Body engineering
2+ years Integration experience preferred
Hands on experience with any of the following :GPDS & Integrator knowledge
TCE or e2KS
Engineering Education Required
Bachelor of Science in Engineering
