Job Title Unit Battery Systems Engineer, Hybrid HV Battery Team

Job Description & Qualifications Position Duties:
Support engineering and manufacturing deliverables for HV battery design and manufacturing
Define requirements for battery controls and internal mechanical and electrical components.
Develop battery level DFMEA including implementations to manage severity and/or occurrence
Define test plans to validate all requirements and functional performance
Lead design trade-off’s between thermal, packaging, NVH, and hardware/software solutions
Support all quality documents required for manufacturing builds, PPAP, shipping, labeling, etc.
Troubleshoot battery component and in-vehicle systemsMinimum Requirements:
B.S. degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering
D& R experience including manufacturing plant launch
Requires excellent teamwork and coordination skills among multiple D&R activities and component suppliers
Experience in engineering design methods, process, and engineering disciplines (DV, FMEA, etc.)
Proficient computer skills
Minimal travel expected, primarily SE Michigan Ford facilities
