          Job Description & Qualifications Position Duties:


          • Support engineering and manufacturing deliverables for HV battery design and manufacturing


          • Define requirements for battery controls and internal mechanical and electrical components.


          • Develop battery level DFMEA including implementations to manage severity and/or occurrence


          • Define test plans to validate all requirements and functional performance


          • Lead design trade-off’s between thermal, packaging, NVH, and hardware/software solutions


          • Support all quality documents required for manufacturing builds, PPAP, shipping, labeling, etc.


          • Troubleshoot battery component and in-vehicle systemsMinimum Requirements:


          • B.S. degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering


          • D& R experience including manufacturing plant launch


          • Requires excellent teamwork and coordination skills among multiple D&R activities and component suppliers


          • Experience in engineering design methods, process, and engineering disciplines (DV, FMEA, etc.)


          • Proficient computer skills


          • Minimal travel expected, primarily SE Michigan Ford facilities
