Provide engineering discipline as part of a team reporting to the Engineering
Manager. Core Responsibilities: Technical responsibility for organizing,
executing and coordinating customer jobs Analyze test results and provide
engineering reports that meet customer specifications Act as a liaison with
internal and external customers with responsibility for acting independently
on technical matters pertaining to the test engineering field Perform
customer-related activities that will promote new jobs and repeat customers
Read and understand test specifications for inertia dynamometer, vehicle and
component bench testing projects Use a Windows based computer system to access
relevant test procedures and quality system documents, enter measurement data,
store and retrieve files from the network, etc. Monitor tests in progress to
ensure they are running to specification Maintain a clean and organized work
area and comply with all safety requirements Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s
degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive Engineering or a related
Associates degree and 2 years relevant work experience in an automotive
engineering laboratory Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and
computer based file structures Strong oral, written and interpersonal
communication skills Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving
skills Able to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision Able
to work well in a team environment Able to work evenings and/or weekends (as
required) Physical Requirements: Position is located in a test facility
environment, and may involve hands-on work with tools and testing equipment.
Physical activity may include lifting (up to 50lbs.), bending, stooping,
crouching, reaching, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity. Relocation
