Title: Floor Planner - Merchandise Presentation*

Currently, Meijer is looking for a Merchandise Presentation, Floor Planner. This position works with Merchandise Presentation, Merchants and Design teams to create Floor Layouts that are easy to shop and maximize business opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:

Partners with Merchandise Presentation/Space Planner to understand business strategies.
*
Works with Buyer/Merchandise Associate/ and Merchandise Planner to set floor planning strategy and guidelines.
*
Drives to Space Planning Process and deadlines.
*
Creates layouts based on past layouts and trends.
*
Partners with Merchandise Presentation Manager on Space Analytics.
*
Identifies potential space issues and provides recommended solutions.
*
Adjusts floor plans bases on business initiatives and trends.
*
Distributes layouts to stores and merchants.
*
Uses the program Floor Planning by Intactix.
*
Conducts sales to space analysis.
*
Participates in fixture review meetings for remodel and new stores.
*

* 4 year University or College Degree or commensurate retail experience.
* 3 years of Retail experience required.

JDA Space Planning Systems & Tools or other Space Planning systems
*
Office computer skills; Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred
*
Micro Strategy, Data mining / analysis experience required
*
Ability to learn company systems and tools
*
Knowledge of computer programming and/or statistics
