          Job Details:
          Under general supervision, following an initial evaluation by a licensed physical therapist, implements individual physical therapy programs designed to improve and maximize patient mobility and independent functioning within their physical limitations/disabilities, and increase strength and decrease pain. Qualifications: Level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through graduation from an approved Physical Therapy Assistant School. Six to twelve months experience. Analytical ability necessary to continually evaluate patient condition, follow treatment plan, assess patient progress and make appropriate alterations in treatment plans. Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients in sensitive and anxiety provoking situations explaining treatment purpose, procedure, function, and explain equipment, Ability to instruct patients, technicians and interact with allied personnel. Physical ability to lift, support, position and manually exercise patients. Computer skills.
