          JOB SUMMARY

          Under the direction of a Registered Nurse the Patient Care Associate assists patients with activities of daily living, personal care, emotional support and performs more complex clinical skills under the direction of a RN.

          REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

          * High school diploma or equivalent 
          * Six months experience with direct care in an acute care or skilled nursing facility or completion of an accredited certified Nurse Assistant Program or completion of one semester of clinical at an accredited associate or bachelor degree nursing program   
          * BCLS certification
