          Johnson Controls Sr Financial Analyst in Warren Michigan United States

          Title: Sr Financial Analyst
          Location: US-MI-Warren
          Other Locations:

          •Develops material and freight stand costs annually and loads the standards costs into the computer system.
          •Analyzes standard costs on periodic basis and reviews variances.
          •Reviews accounts payable, freight reporting, return material, and payroll for accuracy. •Processes and coordinates timely month-end closings. Ensures accuracy of financial records. •Processes or reviews all transactions associated with inventory.
          •Prepares reports for management.
          •Prepares year-end schedules. •Coordinates physical inventory.
          •Assist Plant Controller in profit plan and forecasts.
          •From time to time, will review plant procedures to determine cost saving effectiveness of meeting plant goals.
          •Other duties deemed necessary by the Plant Controller.

          Education Required:
          Bachelors Degree with major in accounting or equivalent.

          Experience Required:
          Two (2) years in manufacturing cost accounting or related experience.
          Excel skills, including pivot tables and V Look-ups are required.
          Experience with SAP and MFG Pro would be a plus.
