About The Opportunity

Lead the software engineering interface with customers.Lead software engineering activities from pursuit of new business, through award and design development, to launch. Act as the primary internal technical contact and software engineering representative for program management, commercial team, purchasing and suppliers, manufacturing and logistics. Gather and analyze electrical and software requirements related to the ECU System. Create high levels plans for the development of ECU subsystem, software and vehicle development. Lead and manage change management for the ECU Subsystem by participating in a global change review board. Coordinate development between customer, vehicle development and software teams. Release ECU Subsystem to the customer during development. Provide support for ECU Subsystem industrialization, including processes, training, and re-flashing. Manage product development from start to end of project, including product launch.

Key Responsibilities

  • RequiresMaster Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or foreign educational equivalent.

  • Candidate must have a minimum oftwo years of experience in the position offered, or in a similar position, such as Technical Program Manager or Software Change Control Engineer. Experience must includedevelopment of model based controls as well as C-code, and definition of control mechanisms for various applications within the automotive industry.
