Job Description & Qualifications:

Lead Infotainment Display D&R Engineer for current model production of various display units in production.
Lead quality projects, and warranty related design and process changes.
Lead warranty Spend/Spike Recovery projects.
Release service messages and bulletins to address warranty issues.
Review service manuals and diagnostic tools to improve the vehicle service experience.
Work collaboratively with infotainment team to address system issues.
Work with supplier to ensure part analysis and corrective actions are thorough and complete
Support supplier quality focus Meetings to ensure that supplier quality targets are met
Support assembly plant team by providing the required analysis needed to bring plant issues to quick resolutions.
Support all related quality reviews by resolving open items with quick resolution of issues
Work with dealer technicians and field service engineers to address field concerns and help expedite warranty parts for quick issue resolution.
Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering
2+ years’ experience working in an automotive engineering environment
Understanding of electronics and/or vehicle systems
Experience working on electronic display products
Ability to troubleshoot vehicle, system, and component issues. Utilize is/is not, fishbone diagram, 8-D, etc.
Working knowledge of Ford quality tracking systems (AWS, Datacubes, BSAQ, ECB, GCQIS, GQRS, etc.) or equivalent
Working Knowledge of Ford WERS release system (Concerns, Notices, Alerts, etc.) or equivalent
Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work well in a cross-functional setting
