Kforce Kronos Timekeeping Customer Support in Detroit, Michigan

Kforce's Metro Detroit, Michigan (MI) automotive client is looking for a Kronos Timekeeping Customer Support Representative for a short-term contract position.Summary:The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily timekeeping support for group leaders at the plant. They will be managing a large volume of calls and emails.Duties Include:

  • Perform business functions necessary for supporting a Shared Services Center, People Services environment and provides tier one assistance to managers, employees, Human Resources functional areas and vendors

  • Applicant should possess a high degree of payroll knowledge to deliver exceptional customer service while meeting customer expectations relative to problem solving day to day issues

  • Work activities will also include, but are not limited to, processing paperwork in accordance with established procedures, collecting and validating document images required to process status changes, generating reports, participating in audits and providing telephone support

  • Respond to employee inquiries either by phone or email

  • Quickly develop an understanding of the HR and payroll systems

  • Achieve understanding of various systems that feed HR and payroll a and their impact on employees

  • Maintain a cohesive work relationship between multiple 3rd party vendors that support company

  • Network and collaborate with colleagues, third parties, and other departments to achieve desired business results

  • Keep up-to-date with all communications that affect employees

  • Assist in the documentation of HR and payroll processes in the knowledge database warehouse

  • Recognize trends in employee inquiries that may identify potential system failures

  • Collaborate frequently with other Shared Service Call Center agents to ensure seamless overall service delivery

  • Administers human resource policies and procedures that cover multiple Human Resource functional areas

  • Kronos timekeeping experience required

  • General knowledge of human resources, benefits administration and payroll; talent acquisition/management, compensation, and leave administration is preferred

  • Excellent Customer Service skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and balance many assignments at one time

  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal and team building skills

  • Prior Payroll experience preferred

  • Previous experience in an automotive manufacturing environment preferred
