Henry Ford Health System RN- Ambulatory I- Full time - Center for Health Services Research Department- Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan

Provide skilled nursing services to opioid dependent patients in a primary care setting and their significant support systems. Provide leadership within a primary care-based opioid treatment service. Ongoing screening, assessment, intakes, evaluations, triage, teaching, inductions, stabilizations, and monitoring of patients receiving office-based opioid treatment. Collaborate with team members at HFHS and outside referral sites, work with providers from addiction settings in assisting patients and supporting their referral needs. Preferred: minimum of 3 years RN clinical experience, and 1 year mental health experience

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.Bachelor Degree preferred.Successful completion of HFMG Pharmacology test.Certification will be required when it is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard, i.e., Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN). Maintains and demonstrates current clinical knowledge in area of specialty.Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical group personnel.Preferred experience in the specialty.Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. Current BLS or ACLS per HFHS policy.
