This includes working independently, within Information Services (IS), with the business side and as a consultant to project teams to assure appropriate and effective use of server applications in support of IS and business goals. Assures due consideration is given to the development of operational procedures, processes and support materials to assure desired change. Offers additional technology leadership opportunities in the form of coordination of collaborative technical activities (like system maintenance weekend or general after hours work), targeted technology research and development (R D) of emerging system application technologies and expanded technical mentoring of junior staff. emBasic Qualifications:/em Education - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Experience - 5 years of experience typically gained through skills/knowledge/abilities in the field emPreferred Qualifications:/em Education - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Experience - 7 years of experience gained through full-time experience in an enterprise environment, sometimes in a related infrastructure technology field (eg server, storage, network, telecom, security). Experience in the following technical areas: troubleshooting Linux and Windows applications; creating bash, PowerShell, and other forms of scripting; broad experience in Linux OS, Windows OS, OpenShift, Splunk, Jenkins, Jira, Bitbucket, Ansible and cloud technologies.
