ROLE SUMMARYThe Project Manager coordinates and manages defined projects that support the Drug Products plant. This may include product transfer projects, new product commercialization/launch activities internal to the site, cost improvement projects, capital equipment installations, Right First Time initiatives, and safety and compliance driven initiatives for Drug Product Operations.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES•Serves as the Project Manager for non-capital projects, or as the Customer Project Manager for capital projects as the counterpart to the Engineering Project Manager.•Project Manager is responsible for the development of key processes and systems to organize/track and communicate initiative status to multi-disciplinary teams.•Responsible for the planning and execution of their assigned projects, associated budgets, timelines and other project specific deliverables within the scope of the initiativeroject.•Often interface with multi-disciplinary groups internal and external to the site.•Being part of the Drug Product Operations Support team, additional tasks may be added to the job scope such as Lean and Right First Time (RFT) efforts, Industrial Engineering tasks, and training efforts as needed to support the operations.QUALIFICATIONS•BA/BS plus a minimum of 9 years of experience or MBA/MS plus a minimum of 7 years of experience in a science or engineering related field.•Pharmaceutical or manufacturing experience.•Strong, demonstrated project management skills exhibited in a cGMP environment are requirements.•Specific knowledge of and experience with Drug Product processing and equipment is highly desirable.•Successful candidate must be familiar with tools and techniques required to manage large scale complex projects through multi-disciplinary teams.•This position is part of a career path that includes levels of opportunity - grade 04, 07, 10, 12. Job title and salary grade are dependent on the successful candidate's qualifications.
