Manpower Group Maintenance Workers Needed in Madison Heights in Madison Heights, Michigan

Manpower in Rochester Hills is currently recruiting for an experienced Shipping and Receiving Clerk for a leading clients in Madison Height, MI. This position is temp to hire for the right candidate.

Hours: Mon-Thurs 6:00AM-4:30 PM (Some overtime on Fridays)

Past experience required.

JOB SUMMARY: Perform highly diversified duties to install, maintain and repair physical structures. Perform duties related to continuous improvement and other general needs through the manufacturing plant and offices. Understand LEAN concepts and strive for facility improvements.


1.Connect power supply wires to machines and equipment and connect Cables and wires between machines and equipment.

2.Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, detect and replace defective controls, such as motors, lighting fixtures, electrical equipment .

  1. General light duty maintenance needs

4.Build, repair, and install counters, cabinets, benches, partitions, doors, framework and trim.

5.Perform basic plumbing tasks.

6.Operate safely all hand and power tools common to the skills listed such as cutting torch, welding equipment, saws, drills, etc.

  1. Work in a safe manner and observe all safety procedures including but not limited to the proper use of the man-lift and fork lift, lock out/tag out, HAZMAT, Personal Protective Equipment, Confined Space and electrical safety procedures.

  2. Follow all company rules, procedures and policies.


  1. Complete other related duties as assigned.


Able to read, write, add, subtract, multiply and divide. Able to use measuring devices and operate hand tools

Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Must be comfortable working in a team environment consisting of TrynEx International employees and outside contractors.

Required to demonstrate good judgment when performing and planning to perform the specified tasks.

Must be able to operate a fork truck/pallet jack


While the person performing this job will generally work a set 40 hour schedule, the nature of the work makes it necessary for the person to be willing and able to work overtime, to change the working schedule to meet maintenance needs, and to work on call for emergency situations.


High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school would be a plus.


One year related experience and/or training.


Fork Lift License


Regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes and noise. May work outside. May work above or below ground.
