Job Description


Robert Bosch LLC seeks a Hardware Engineer at its facility located at 15000 Haggerty Road, Plymouth, MI 48170. The Hardware Engineer will be responsible for the hardware designs on electronic control modules. S/he will be responsible for hardware process activities, worst case circuit analysis and simulations, circuit design and troubleshooting systems issues. S/he will work directly with the internal and external customers as a technical interface. S/he will work directly with component suppliers and global team on selection of components. S/he will set up and perform electrical bench and vehicle tests, and documenting in detailed technical reports. S/he will support product validation, EMC, and related troubleshooting activities. S/he will perform required development tasks to launch designs into series production while following required development processes. S/he will support new designs and/or quotation activities. REQS: Bachelor of Science degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics, or related engineering field, plus 3 years of work experience with embedded system hardware design. Additionally, the applicant must have 3 years of professional experience with: (1) EMC evaluation of compliance requirements and its effect on hardware design; (2) development and testing of requirements in compliance with V-model methodology; (3) troubleshooting embedded system ECU issues utilizing development tools: oscilloscope, multi-meters, and signal generators; (4) simulating circuit designs using P-Spice or LT-Spice; (5) worst case circuit analysis (WCCA) in circuit design development; and (6) full development life cycle from concept to production.
