Position in Context

We are seeking an experienced motivated and results-oriented Quality Engineer- Electrical to join our team at the Troy office. This is an exciting, collaborative and highly impactful role that will be responsible for developing new technology in the area of designing and releasing components.


·Responsible for launching activities of our product to ensure they meet our strict quality standards.

·Manage local inspection facility which conducts inspection testing to verify product quality.

·Leads APQP activates and coordinates documentation for such activities.

·Leads responses to emerging quality issues and responsible for containment and tracking of those issues

·Leads communication with customer and internal communication of quality issues.

·Leads quality analysis of customer reported failures and finds potential root cause of failed part.

·Analyzes all warranty claims to determine root cause why the product was returned.

·Reports quality status internally and to the customer.

·Manages the process and procedures to refurbish service parts and ensure good parts are being shipped to our customers.


·A Undergraduate Degree or Bachelor's equivalent in electrical engineering is required. Mechanical Engineers will not be considered.

·10 years of experience in job-related area preferred

·Minimum 8 years' experience working with electrical components in the automotive industry

·Strong written and verbal communication skills

·Knowledge of automotive electronics is preferred

·EV/PHV Power Module and Part Experience is preferred.(Battery and Circuit, Motors)

·Tier-1 Quality and Customer Support Experience is preferred.
